Pershore Community Church
Our mission is to be a vibrant, Holy Spirit-led community, actively sharing the good news of Jesus with the people of Pershore. Like Jesus, our mission is to “bring good news to the poor, comfort the broken-hearted, proclaim that captives will be released and set prisoners free” (Luke 4:18).
We’re all about connecting! Our mission is for Pershore Community Church to be a community where we are all:

In 2009, a group from City Church Worcester, together with other local Christians, began to plant a new church in Pershore. Building on many years of prayer and training, Pershore Community Church launched publicly in September 2010 and was part of Salt and Light UK’s vision to plant 75 churches during the decade. During this stage, the whole church functioned as a family on mission and outreach events were regularly supported by the entire group.
Growing steadily, and beginning to meet more regularly and formally, the renewed vision of 2015 was for “Loving Jesus, Loving Life” (John 10:10). The church met in several locations, reaching different aspects of the community, and a close-knit but growing church community emerged. The first staff member was employed, the Leadership Team expanded and links with other churches developed.
We subscribe to the Evangelical Alliance’s basis of faith (https://www.eauk.org/about-us/basis-of-faith) and are affiliated to Synergy, a family of churches across the Midlands (https://www.facebook.com/synergysphere/).
