Our Groups

We are currently not meeting face to face but do join us on our YouTube Channel on Sunday mornings at 10.30am

Normally we use the amazing space at Pershore Library (32 Church Street Pershore, WR10 1DT) for most Sunday gatherings  (see our schedule for other locations). The entrance is via Church Street with parking available off Lower Priest Lane, adjacent to Holy Redeemer First School.

Join us from 10.15am for coffee. The service starts at 10.30am and lasts for around and hour and a quarter. A creche is provided for babies, toddlers and pre-school children, Sunday School for 4-10 year old children and Elevate Youth for 11-16s.

We usually start with contemporary worship.  We welcome open prayer and the sharing of scriptures and prophetic words or pictures. This  leads into a 20 minute message and closes with a time for prayer, response and reflection.

We love to welcome people with a cup of coffee and we're encouraging everyone to bring a reusable cup.

From 10:15am each Sunday

(We also enjoy tea just as much!)

Children have a central role in the life of our church – we don’t just want them to be the church of the future, we want them involved now!

Children are as welcome as adults to share readings, pictures and prayers, and Sunday mornings sometimes involve something designed specifically to engage children, e.g. a drawing table, musical instruments, or even an all-church percussion session.

After around 15 minutes, the children leave the main meeting and have their own session, where they share what God has done, learn from the Bible, pray, play and eat! There is usually lots of laughter and something to take home that they have made.

Sunday mornings are when the youth focus particularly on spiritual activities. They join in with us at the start of the worship meeting and then meet for their own time of prayer, Bible study, having some fun and eating biscuits. Both youth groups are for school Year 7 upwards.

Our Friday night youth group meets once or twice per month, with wide-ranging activities. Previously they’ve enjoyed bell-boating, laser quest, swimming party and a progressive meal, to name but a few. As a group, they fund-raise to sponsor a child that they support and they have even dressed in black and white to be servers at a wedding! We are fortunate to have the use of the purpose-built Pershore Riverside Youth centre for when the youth are not out and about. During lockdown we have held the occasional virtual youth night via Zoom.

During the week, we meet as smaller groups to talk, share, pray and socialise. Life Groups give us the chance to get to know a few people better and support one another, in a relaxed setting. We consider these groups to be a natural way to introduce our friends and contacts to God and His church, too.

Life Groups meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. During lockdown we're meeting via Zoom online. Email us for more details - info@pershorecc.org

We have a relaxed, contemporary, amplified, acoustic style of worship music and we like nothing more than to hear from God during these times.

Singing, praying out, speaking in tongues and waiting on the Lord are all natural elements often found in our times of worship.

We love the worship songs created by Hillsong, Bethel Housefires, Rend Collective and All Sons and Daughters and will often use them to lift our hearts in worship to God in our services.

New to the UK or looking to brush up your spoken English?  We run free English classes for anyone who wants to improve their English in a friendly and relaxed environment.

The Language Group meets on a Thursday night, contact Liz for more details.
